Anthurium Care

WATER

Make sure to water your anthurium plant regularly, but don’t overwater (as with all plants)!

If your anthurium is grown in a soil mix make sure the mix is not dense and "can breathe". Allow the mix to dry out slightly in the wintertime. And water to maintain moisture in the growing season.

This plant likes a humid space.

LIGHT

Anthurium plants can tolerate all levels of indirect light, but anthuriums growing in low light will have fewer flowers and will grow slower. This plant cannot tolerate direct light as this will burn the leaves. Please no direct sunlight exposure.

The optimal light space is bright, indirect light.

FERTILIZER

Fertilize once every 3-4 months.

NOTE

- Please wipe the leaves from time to time to remove dust build-up and to maximize photosynthesis.

Fun Little Tid Bit:

The flower is actually a leaf!

Once the flower ages trim off towards the bottom to allow for new “flower” growth. 
